The kit is designed for mammalian suspension culture applications, as well as bacterial and yeast culture, and is available with either a solid or vent cap to eliminate the chance of unintended venting, unlike combination caps. The vent caps feature a 0.22μm hydrophobic membrane that allows for gas exchange without contamination, with an over-sized vent area in the cap to improve gas exchange. The product is packaged sterile in individual bags for easy storage and handling, and it is manufactured from medical grade virgin PETG, which reduces gas permeability.
