Tissue culture flasks are available in both tissue culture treated and non-treated suspension culture versions. The tissue culture treated flasks feature a uniform hydrophilic surface, ideal for consistent cell attachment. They come packaged in a convenient zip-closure bag, which serves as a practical alternative to folding and taping open bags. The flasks are designed with a large opening, canted neck, and moderate angles to facilitate easy access to the entire flask surface, making them suitable for use with cell scrapers. Their stable base allows for filling while the flask is standing upright, and they are constructed with thick, durable walls. Each flask is printed with the lot number and expiration date for easy identification and tracking. The molded, interlocking T design enhances stacking capabilities on 75, 182, and 300 cm² and 250, 600, and 850 mL size flasks. The vent caps incorporate a 0.22 μm hydrophobic membrane. Notably, the 182 cm² flask provides more growth area than standard 175 cm² flasks, while its deep volume design accommodates additional media volume, allowing for extended culture growth periods without the risk of drying out or nutrient depletion.
