Tissue culture flasks come in tissue culture treated and non-treated suspension culture versions. The tissue culture treated flasks feature a uniform hydrophilic surface that promotes consistent cell attachment. Each flask is packaged in a convenient zip-closure bag, providing a practical alternative to traditional open bags that require folding and taping. The design includes a large opening and canted neck, facilitating easy access to the entire flask surface, which is particularly useful for cell scrapers. These flasks have a stable base allowing for filling while standing upright, and they are constructed with thick, durable walls. Each flask is printed with a lot number and expiration date for easy identification and tracking. The molded interlocking T design enhances stacking capabilities for 75, 182, and 300 cm² flasks, as well as for 250, 600, and 850 ml sizes. The vent caps are equipped with a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane. The 182 cm² flask provides a larger growth area compared to standard 175 cm² flasks and features extra depth, which allows for increased media volume, enabling longer cell culture maintenance without the risk of drying out or nutrient depletion, making it suitable for extended culture periods over weekends.
