The kit includes a 50ml centrifuge tube filter system designed to eliminate a sample transfer step by allowing direct filtration into the tube. It features a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane that ensures high flow rates and low binding of samples. Each case of the 50ml centrifuge tube filter systems comes with one multi-purpose centrifuge tube stand that securely holds the tube during filtration, with molded positions accommodating one 50ml tube, three 15ml tubes, and three microcentrifuge tubes (1.5ml). The centrifuge tube stands are manufactured from autoclavable, reusable, and recyclable polypropylene, providing a durable and environmentally-friendly option for laboratory use.
