The SCPA clamp is designed for handling steel plate through a 180-degree arc, effectively transitioning from horizontal to vertical and back to horizontal, making it suitable for use with rolling and forming machines. This clamp features a spring-loaded pivoting cam jaw that engages when a load is applied to the lifting shackle. It is capable of handling plate horizontally when utilized in pairs or sets of pairs, or in a tripod arrangement. The pivoting shackle assembly is available on capacities of 3 tons and larger.
