The helmet features a high density polyethylene cap with vents on the top of the shell that enhance air circulation to help keep the wearer's head cooler. Its shell design includes a short peak and a low profile, along with a 4-point woven nylon suspension that offers easy quick-slide sizing to adjust for head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, and it accommodates a chin strap. The accessory slots are designed to support a wide array of eye, face, and hearing protection options, while goggle retaining slots are molded onto the suspension. Additionally, it includes a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet is certified when the headband is installed in the reverse position, meeting the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, as well as ANSI Z89.1 type 1, class C requirements.
