The kit includes a high-density polyethylene cap featuring vents on the top of the helmet shell to enhance air circulation and help keep the wearer's head cooler. The shell design features a short peak and low profile and is equipped with a 4-point woven nylon suspension with easy quick-slide sizing, allowing adjustments for head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8 and accommodating a chin strap. Accessory slots are designed to fit a wide variety of eye, face, and hearing protection, while goggle retaining slots are molded onto the suspension. Additionally, the helmet includes a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. It is certified when the headband is installed in the reverse position and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, along with ANSI Z89.1 type 1, class C requirements.
