The hard hat features a high-density polyethylene cap with a short peak and low profile, complemented by a 4-point nylon webbing suspension system with an easy-turn knob Mega Ratchet® sizing that adjusts to head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8. It includes a hinged, padded ratchet adjustment that hangs low and is adjustable at the nape of the neck for a perfect fit, along with receptacles for a 4-point chin strap to securely hold the hard hat in place. A functional rain trough is integrated into the design, and accessory slots are available to accommodate a wide variety of eye, face, and hearing protection. Goggle retaining slots are molded into the suspension, enhancing compatibility with safety gear. For comfort, the moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The hard hat is certified when the headband is installed in the reverse position and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard. It is made in the USA and complies with ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 Class C, E, and G specifications.
