The kit includes a high-density polyethylene cap featuring vents on the top of the helmet shell to enhance air circulation, helping to keep the wearer's head cooler. The shell design incorporates a short peak and low profile, accompanied by a 4-point woven nylon suspension system with easy quick-slide sizing that accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8 and includes a chin strap. Accessory slots are designed to fit a variety of eye, face, and hearing protection, while goggle retaining slots are molded into the suspension. A moisture-wicking brow pad is both removable and washable, and can be replaced as needed. The helmet is certified when the headband is installed in the reverse position, meeting the low-temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, as well as ANSI Z89.1 type 1, class C requirements.
