Meets NFPA 1977-2016 standard on protective clothing and equipment for wildland fire fighting, 2011 edition. The Americana® Wildlands™ full brim style polycarbonate hard hat includes a Nomex®/Kevlar® chinstrap with a postman's slide fastener and quick release buckle, three goggle retaining clips on the hat shell, and four yellow fluorescent retroreflective strips attached to the shell. It also features tape to attach a neck shroud and an affixed under-brim glare guard. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The 4-point nylon webbing suspension incorporates a Mega-Ratchet® knob to adjust head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, and the low-hanging, padded, hinged ratchet is height adjustable for a personalized fit. This hard hat provides protection in environments with higher ambient temperatures or radiant heat, such as outdoor Wildlands™ fire fighting. Key features include being made in the USA and compliance with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type 1 Class C, E & G standards.
