The Americana® Wildlands™ full brim style polycarbonate hard hat meets the NFPA 1977-2016 standard on protective clothing and equipment for wildland fire fighting, 2011 edition. It includes a Nomex®/Kevlar® chinstrap with a postman's slide fastener and quick release buckle, three goggle retaining clips on the hat shell, and four yellow fluorescent retroreflective strips attached to the shell. Additionally, it features tape to attach a neck shroud and an affixed under-brim glare guard. The hard hat is equipped with a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad, and has a 4-point nylon webbing suspension with a Mega-Ratchet® knob that adjusts to head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8. The low-hanging, padded, hinged ratchet is height adjustable for a personalized fit, providing protection in environments with higher ambient temperatures or radiant heat such as outdoor Wildlands™ fire fighting. This product is made in the USA and conforms to ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type 1 Class C, E & G standards.
