The helmet kit includes a high density polyethylene cap designed with a short peak and a low profile, featuring a 4-point nylon webbing suspension equipped with an easy-turn knob Mega Ratchet® sizing that adjusts from head sizes 6-1/2 to 8. The hinged, padded ratchet adjustment provides a low-hanging and adjustable fit at the nape of the neck. It is designed with a functional rain trough and accessory slots that accommodate a wide variety of eye, face, and hearing protection, while the cap also fits a chin strap. Additionally, goggle retaining slots are molded into the suspension, and the moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet is certified when the headband is installed in the reverse position and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, as well as ANSI Z89.1 type 1, class C, E, and G requirements.
