The helmet features a high-density polyethylene cap with vents on the top of the shell for increased air circulation, helping to keep the wearer's head cooler. Its shell design includes a short peak and low profile, complemented by a 4-point woven nylon suspension with an easy-turn Mega Ratchet® knob for sizing adjustments that accommodate head sizes 6-1/2 to 8. The low-hanging, padded ratchet adjustment is height adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit. Accessory slots are available for a wide variety of eye, face, and hearing protection, and goggle retaining slots are molded on the suspension. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet is certified when the headband is installed in reverse position and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard. It is made in the USA and complies with ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 Class C standards.
