The PowerWeld® air carbon-arc gouging torch features an angled design with a swivel cable to enhance user comfort. It is utilized for grooving, gouging, and removing surface defects and welds, accommodating a capacity of 1000 amps. The torch comes with a 7' swivel cable assembly and requires a compatible welding power source along with an air compressor for operation. It is designed for use with pointed carbon electrodes ranging in size from 5/32" to 1/2". Additionally, the air inlet connection is rated at 3/8" NPT.
