The H2C-series two-piece clamping collar from Climax Metal features a 2-7/8" bore and a 4-1/2" outside diameter, constructed from black oxide plated steel. This clamping collar is designed with a recessed screw head, which provides an outside surface free of major projections for enhanced safety. Its design fully engages the shaft without causing marring, making it easy to install in situations where major disassembly would otherwise be necessary. The collar offers greater axial holding power compared to set screw or one-piece clamping collars and is effective on both hard and soft shafts.
