The H2C-series two-piece clamping collar from Climax Metal features a 2-7/8" bore and a 4-1/2" outside diameter, constructed from stainless steel with a recessed screw head. The recessed screw head is designed to provide an outside surface free of major projections, enhancing safety during operation. This collar fully engages the shaft without causing marring, making it easy to install even in situations where significant disassembly would normally be required. It offers greater axial holding power than traditional set screw collars and is effective on both hard and soft shafts.
