The Gen5X1 is a one-bank onboard battery charger rated at 5 amps for 12-volt batteries, suitable for marine, boat, starter, and deep-cycle batteries. This advanced charger is 51% smaller while delivering 43% more power compared to its predecessor, the GenM1. It features selectable charging modes to independently charge and control each battery bank, including modes for 12V, 12V AGM, 12V lithium, and 12V repair, accommodating all types of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. The integrated thermal sensor ensures precision charging by detecting ambient temperature to prevent over-charging in hot conditions and under-charging in cold. It can charge batteries as low as 1 volt and includes a force mode for manual charging of dead batteries down to zero volts. The charger automatically detects battery sulfation and acid stratification to restore battery performance, promoting stronger engine starts and extended battery life. Designed as an advanced battery maintainer, it operates fully automatically 24/7 with zero overcharge. The mounting system is simplified for quick installations in any orientation, including upside down, and features an integrated anti-vibration backing to mitigate shock, vibration, and noise. Additionally, the charger is fully-sealed and waterproof, with an ingress protection rating ensuring durability in various environments.
