The shelves are constructed from 12 gauge steel, with the top shelf available either with a 1-1/2 inch lip or flush edges, while the bottom shelf features a 1-1/2 inch lip. The cart is fitted with 5-inch non-marking polyurethane wheels, consisting of two rigid casters and two swivel casters with wheel brakes.
