Made from Aerex 1.5.5®, a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer, these work shoes are over 40% lighter compared to most steel toe PVC and rubber shoes. They are ideal for applications such as warehouses, workshops, construction, transportation, municipalities, janitorial, and various food processing industries including dairy, meats, vegetables, and breweries. The shoes offer superior chemical resistance to fats, oils, hydrocarbons, and many acids and alkalies. The size is men's 8 and women's 10, and they feature a 6-inch height with a composite safety toe and a black cleated outsole. The composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and will not set off metal detectors. They are 100% liquidproof and resistant to a wide range of chemicals, acids, alkalis, and oils. The cleated, slip-resistant, nitrile rubber outsole provides superior grip on dry, wet, clean, and contaminated surfaces. Tiny air bubbles within the material keep feet warm in cold conditions and cooler in heat. The lightweight Aerex 1.5.5® construction ensures all-day comfort. A unique thumb pocket at the top opening allows for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning, and the wrap-around heel kick enables hands-free removal. The design eliminates shoelaces, reducing contamination and trip-and-fall hazards. A removable, contoured insole absorbs energy from heel strikes to minimize injury risk while walking. The electric hazard soles and heels are intended to reduce risks from accidental contact with live electrical circuits; however, they are not suitable for environments with volatile chemicals or explosives, and their electric hazard features may deteriorate in wet conditions.
