Made from Aerex 1.5.5®, a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer, this work shoe is over 40% lighter compared to most steel toe PVC and rubber shoes, making it ideal for warehouses, workshops, construction, transportation, municipalities, janitorial tasks, and various food processing applications such as dairy, meats, vegetables, and breweries. The shoes offer superior chemical resistance to fats, oils, hydrocarbons, and many acids and alkalis, and come in men's size 10 and women's size 12. Key features include a 6-inch height black work shoe with a composite safety toe, black cleated outsole, and compliance with ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH*. The composite safety toe will not set off metal detectors, and the shoe is 100% liquidproof and chemical resistant to a wide range of chemicals. The cleated, slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole provides superior grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The construction incorporates tiny air bubbles that keep feet warm in the cold and cooler in the heat, while the lightweight Aerex 1.5.5® material ensures all-day comfort. A unique thumb pocket at the top opening allows for a firm, no-slip grip during donning, and a wrap-around heel kick enables hands-free removal. The absence of shoelaces minimizes contamination and trip hazards. Additionally, the removable, contoured insole absorbs energy during heel strikes, alleviating impacts to the foot while walking. Note that electric hazard soles and heels are designed to reduce risks due to accidental contact with live electrical circuits but are not suitable for environments with volatile chemicals or explosives. Caution is advised as electric hazard features may deteriorate in wet conditions.
