The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 2 x 1-1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female connections, engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, OEM manufacturing, and other environments involving vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The fittings utilize socket weld material, which is preferred over threaded connections in most applications due to its ability to completely seal off a line and eliminate all possibilities of leakage.
