The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 2 x 1-1/2" reducing coupling designed for socket weld applications. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing sectors, as well as other applications dealing with vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld material is favored over threaded options, as it provides a complete seal for the line, eliminating any possibility of leakage.
