The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1 x 3/4" reducing coupling with a socket weld connection. All fittings are engineered according to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, OEM manufacturing, and other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings for applications requiring complete sealing of a line to eliminate the possibility of leakage.
