The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2 x 3/4" reducing coupling with NPT female threads. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications, with Class 3000 fittings available in various sizes and shapes suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as environments with vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld material is more commonly used than threaded fittings because it provides a complete seal to eliminate leakage.
