The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 3/4 x 1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female ends. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as other situations involving vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld material is significantly more popular than threaded options, as most applications require completely sealing off a line to eliminate any possibility of leakage.
