The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 3/4 x 1/4" reducing coupling for socket weld applications. All fittings are engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld design is preferred over threaded fittings, as it ensures complete sealing of a line and eliminates the possibility of leakage.
