The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2" half coupling designed for socket weld applications. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is available in various sizes and shapes, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications, including the chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings, as it provides complete sealing and eliminates any possibility of leakage.
