The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2" square head plug with NPT male threading. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Classified as Class 3000, these fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other applications subject to vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld material is preferred over threaded options in most applications to ensure complete sealing off of a line and eliminate the possibility of leakage.
