The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting 1-1/2" cap socket weld is engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is designed for a variety of industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as in environments characterized by vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld design is favored over threaded fittings for its ability to completely seal off a line, thus eliminating any possibility of leakage.
