The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1/4" 45-degree elbow socket weld designed to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other applications where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld construction is preferred over threaded fittings as it provides a complete seal, effectively eliminating the possibility of leakage.
