The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 3/8" 90-degree elbow with NPT female threads, engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is available in various sizes and shapes, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as environments with vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld material option is more commonly used than threaded fittings because it provides a completely sealed line, eliminating the possibility of leakage.
