The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/4" cap designed for socket weld connections. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, OEM manufacturing, and other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings because it provides a completely sealed line, eliminating all possibility of leakage.
