The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2 x 1" reducing coupling designed for socket weld applications. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. The socket weld material is favored over threaded alternatives as it effectively seals off a line, eliminating any possibility of leakage.
