The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 3/8" cap with NPT female threads. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other applications where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. Socket weld material is preferred over threaded connections in many applications to ensure complete sealing of a line and to eliminate any possibility of leakage.
