The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is designed with a 1-1/2 x 1/2" insert socket weld configuration, and all fittings are engineered to meet the ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. The Class 3000 fittings come in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as other scenarios involving vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld material is favored over threaded fittings since it provides a complete seal of the line, effectively eliminating the possibility of leakage.
