The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting 2 x 1-1/4" reducing coupling socket weld is engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is suitable for a variety of industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as environments that experience vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld design is preferred over threaded fittings as it effectively seals off a line and eliminates any possibility of leakage.
