The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1 x 1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female ends. All fittings are engineered to comply with ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. The Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as other applications where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. Socket weld material is preferred over threaded options, as it effectively seals off a line and eliminates the potential for leakage.
