The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/4" coupling with NPT female ends, engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is designed for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as other environments subject to vibration, high pressure, or highly corrosive conditions. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded connections in most applications due to its ability to provide a completely sealed line, thereby eliminating all possibilities of leakage.
