The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/4" half coupling designed with NPT female x plain connections. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is available in various sizes and shapes, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications, including the chemical, petrochemical, and power generation industries, as well as OEM manufacturing. It is particularly effective in environments subject to vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Notably, socket weld material is preferred over threaded connections in most applications, as it ensures a complete seal off a line and eliminates any possibility of leakage.
