The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1 x 1/4" hex bushing with NPT male and female connections. All fittings are engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as any applications where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld material is significantly more popular than threaded options, as it is preferred in most applications that require completely sealing off a line and eliminating all possibility of leakage.
