The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2 x 1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are designed for a variety of sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other scenarios where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. Notably, socket weld material is preferred over threaded due to its capability of providing a complete seal and eliminating any risk of leakage.
