The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 2 x 1" reducing coupling with NPT female ends. All fittings are engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This class 3000 fitting is designed for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. The socket weld material is favored over threaded options due to its ability to completely seal off a line and eliminate the possibility of leakage.
