The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting features a 2 x 1/2" hex bushing NPT male x female configuration. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. The Class 3000 fittings come in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments characterized by vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld material is preferred over threaded options, as it effectively seals off a line and eliminates the potential for leakage.
