The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 2 x 1/2" reducing coupling designed for socket weld applications. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other applications that experience vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings, as it provides complete sealing of a line and eliminates any possibility of leakage.
