The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2 x 1/4" reducing coupling with socket weld design, engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is available in various sizes and shapes, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments prone to vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings because it provides a complete seal and eliminates the possibility of leakage.
