The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/4" union socket weld designed to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded options, as it allows for complete sealing off of a line and eliminates the potential for leakage.
