The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1/2" 45 degree elbow with NPT female threading, engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. Socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings for applications requiring a completely sealed line to eliminate the possibility of leakage.
