The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1/2" 45 degree elbow socket weld designed to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. This Class 3000 fitting is suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as environments with vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld fittings are preferred over threaded fittings as they provide a complete seal, eliminating the possibility of leakage.
