The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2" 90 degree elbow with NPT female connections, engineered to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as environments with vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings because most applications require completely sealing off a line to eliminate any possibility of leakage.
