The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/4 x 3/8" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. The class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, accommodating a wide range of industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing, as well as other situations where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. The design favors socket weld material, which is significantly more popular than threaded options, as it facilitates complete sealing of a line and minimizes the possibility of leakage.
